
Shot as part of Instagram’s international More Than a Diagnosis campaign, this project explored real-life friendships and chosen families within the online chronic illness community. The brief called for imagery that felt honest, emotionally resonant, and full of life—documenting moments of connection in everyday settings and shared spaces. I captured stills to launch the campaign across Instagram’s own channels and paid media, building a photographic language that celebrated tenderness, joy, and the beautifully authentic experiences found on the platform. The result: a set of images that feel lived-in and real, reflecting the intimate, ever-expanding spirit of chosen family online.
