Under Wraps is a creative menswear editorial blending graphic prints with old-school nostalgia set in the grassy green British suburbia. Initially a self-motivated project, the story developed after David and I had a couple of chats on the phone about how big graphics were suddenly making a comeback and how we could interplay that with some more classic British prints like the Burberry check. Felix actually came dressed in Balenciaga, so we ended up using some of his pieces as well.
Funny story, we actually showed up at the Osterley Park gate in full gear ready and roaring to shoot just to have them tell us that they couldn’t allow it, since our crew looked a bit more like a full production than an editorial team. We had to sneak around the front gate and find a little side entrance, and we spent the entire day looking over our shoulders to make sure they didn’t spot us shooting!
